You'd be surprised at the number of habitancy that love to see a barista set up and then pull a great shot. These super autos are also big bucks. But if all you want to do is move your cattle call through the line, this is the engine for you!

The boiler capacity should be large sufficient for a big rush, 9-14 liters should be sufficient. You do not want to run out of steam or hot water in a rush and with a smaller boiler that will happen! Trust me on this from experience!

You will need one for decaf and one for regular espresso. There are some manufacturers and models. I will tell you though to be sure it's automatic and has a doser/coffee hopper. They make a doserless model that grinds right into the portafilter and though this is freshly ground espresso, it does not work well in a rush! The units with a hopper allow the hopper to fill with ground espresso and have a lid to keep out the air. The bigger units have a bigger hopper and vice versa. Also, these have a bean hopper that you can get about 2 lbs of espresso beans in.

Bulk Coffee Grinder

These are the types you see in the food store bulk coffee aisle. Be sure to get the full scale version, not the shorter one. The only inequity I can see is the taller one is easier to get a bag under to grind beans for customers. The shorter one is not! Try to have one polisher for regular and decaf, and other for flavored coffee if you will serve it. Using the same for all three will make the regular and decaf coffee taste like the flavored coffee. This polisher will need allowable maintenance and burr transfer after so many hours as well. Consequent the manufacturer's recommendations on this.

Coffee Maker (drip)

Be sure to buy for your volume. Automatics are best as they are plumbed to a water line. Pour over units will you need to fill manually! The air pot brewers are the better fits because they brew the coffee directly into the air pots. There are particular unit models and duplicate unit models. You will save a lot of time especially in a rush, with a duplicate brew unit.

Pastry Case (refrigerated and non)

There are some separate sizes. Take your floor space into observation but also buy for capacity and optical display. a good stain (I like a good oil-based stain, like a Sherwin-Williams oil based wiping stain) stirring stick sand paper (150 to 320 grit) saw horses or work bench to stain on drop clothes/cardboard cotton rags floor covering pieces or other tool to apply stain (the right floor covering de facto works well to get into those nooks and crannies) clothes/shoes you don't mind getting dirty (the stain won't come out - it's a good idea to invest in a body apron that you don't mind getting ruined) dust mask/respirator face mask latex or rubber gloves lacquer thinner or acetone (to take off stain off of where you don't want it - like hinges or the floor; if you don't have these, you can use finger nail polish remover, most comprise acetone) well ventilated area to work in area to set wood to dry

When the can sits for any distance of time, the stain will separate and sediment (color) will sit at the bottom of the can. If you do not stir well, the stain you use from the top of the can will be much lighter than the stain you end up using at the bottom of the can (and at the end of your project). These results will not look good. The things you stain first will be much lighter than the last pieces you stain.

To apply the stain, one of the easiest tools to use are old floor covering remnants. Cut them into practically 4 x 3 inch rectangles. Dip one end of the floor covering into your stain, then rub the floor covering onto your wood. It doesn't matter if you go with the grain or against the grain at this point, you just want to make sure that you cover all surfaces. If you are doing intricate work, such as doors with groves or raised panels, be sure to get stain into corners. Over staining at this point is a good idea, because the excess will be wiped off. This is where the drop clothes and wearing an apron come in handy, because it can get pretty messy!!

After you apply stain to your piece, look it over to make sure you didn't miss any spots. Areas that are commonly missed in studying how to stain your kitchen cabinets include: grooves, door edges, drawer edges, or any corners - like where the raised panel corners meet the door frame.

Step #5 - Wiping The Stain Off - A Very foremost Multi-Step In Ensuring Your Piece Looks Great

As you are first studying about staining kitchen cabinets, I suggest you wipe the stain off immediately. Most cans of stain suggest leaving the stain sit for 10 minutes, then wiping off the excess. First, have any cotton rags at your disposal. Put a rag in each hand. Never touch your wood with bare or gloved hands alone after it's been stained, as it will leave a smudge mark. Wipe off the bulk of the excess stain. At this point it doesn't matter if you are going with the grain or not, you just want to get the big spots of stain wiped up.

The second step is a finishing type step in staining kitchen cabinets. Take other clean rag. Go back over your piece of wood, this time with the grain. The second rag takes more stain off, preventing smudge marks. The biggest enemy in staining is leaving smudge marks.

Following these two steps and not being afraid to use rags as needed will ensure that you don't leave any smudges. Look your piece over. If you have left any smudges, wipe off gently and blend color in with your cotton rag.

Step #6 - The Final Step In Staining - Set Your Pieces Aside To Dry

Now that you've learned how to stain kitchen cabinets, set your pieces aside to dry (or just let them hang there if they are already installed). You can lay your piece on a flat exterior if only one side is stained. If your piece has multiple sides that are stained, you can lay it flat on something that allows for air circulation to the back, such as saw horses, or if you do adequate staining, buy a professional staining rack. One caveat: where the saw horses or rack touch the stained piece, smudge marks may be left. Before you cease a piece that has dried on such equipment, you may need to touch up that side.

You can also lean your piece against a wall to dry. When your stain is drying, it is best to let air get to as many sides that you have stained as possible. It's also okay to let fans run in the area where you are drying your piece. This helps it to dry faster and doesn't hurt the end result; however, never let fans run on a a piece that you've put cease on.

How long your piece has to dry depends on what type of stain you are using. Read the label and act accordingly.

My Pilot Light Won't Stay Lit - What Now?

I went to a Heating and Air Conditioning customer's home the other day. They had called me to tell me that their heater was not coming on. It is December and getting colder in northern California. I am a generous guy so I headed over there after I complete with my quarterly job.

I arrived at the home and went to where the heater is settled in a closet in the home. (yours maybe in the attic, basement, or garage) I removed the door and found a 30 year old Heating unit. This unit has a standing pilot light, a flame that burns continuously, and it was not lit. After trying to light the pilot light unsuccessfully I thought about that pilot light would not stay lit.

Replacement Kitchen Doors

The older Heating furnaces with standing pilot lights have a thermocouple, that is designed to sense the pilot light flame. That is how the pilot stays lit when you take off your hand from the dial, while trying to relight the pilot. If the thermocouple fails the pilot will not stay lit and the burners will not light so the furnace will not heat the house. You can visually check the thermocouple as well as the pilot flame. Look at the pilot flame while retention the knob in the start position.

1. Is the pilot flame floating (if it is have a Heating serviceperson check the gas valve)

2. Is the copper lead bent or kinked

3. Is the thermocouple insulation damaged

4. Is the thermocouple tip dirty

Don's World - A Big Test for the Insectocutor

Don lives a fairly commonplace life in a fairly commonplace town. He had just had a fairly commonplace night's sleep and is advent down the stairs wearing his commonplace stripy blue and red pajamas and grey slippers. Bleary eyed, he shuffles into the kitchen. He is alone. Or is he?

"Morning!" says the fridge. Donald mumbles incoherently. "Open me, open me!" blurts the cooker. The fridge says: "he won't open you, silly! He wants milk for his coffee. Open me first, Don!"

Replacement Kitchen Doors

Cooker: "he opened me first yesterday".

Fridge: "no he didn't"

"Shhh!" said Don. "I've just woken up. Just be quiet". He then goes to the cupboard, takes out a pack of cookies and opens them.

"Hey, turn me on big boy!" says the sleek new pale yellow kettle that Don had only purchased yesterday. Don obliges. As he does so, some crumbs from the pack of cookies spill onto it. "Sorry", says Don.

In the short-lived silence that followed, Don collects his thoughts about the day ahead. He will be having a meeting with his best client and wants to give a good impression. "I'm warming up for you. Don", says the kettle. Fridge says: "this is too much! She's only been here one day and she's causing trouble and bothering Donald". The kettle says to the fridge: "Hey. Keep cool".

At this moment a fly flies into the kitchen. All conversation stops and there is an air of expectation among Don and his inanimate friends as they all fix themselves on the fly killer motor above the door. Don had purchased the Insectocutor at http://www.eeeee.co.uk. When he received it he was impressed by this sturdy, solid, well-constructed machine. Such a distinction to the flimsy plastic fly killers that, well...couldn't kill a fly. It is the end of spring and this is the first fly that has been in the kitchen since last fall - and the first big test for the fly killer machine.

The fly killer is known as the Insectocutor (this word is always spoken in a slow menacing tone, like a tv announcer might say "The Liq-uid-at-or!" or the "Term-in-at-or"). The Insectocutor is precisely quite timid and is usually very quiet. However, his big moment has now arrived.

The fridge gives out a stifled yelp. The cooker and the toaster all silently will on the Insectocutor. Will he be able to attract the fly? Will he kill it? Will Don be impressed? None of them want to end up like the old kettle that broke down and was dumped unceremoniously. Not that any of them are too keen on the replacement. The new kettle had not lived though the winter where the Insectocutor just had the odd moth to deal with and that was about all. He had been quite depressed precisely when he saw all the other kitchen appliances busy doing their work when he was virtually unemployed. He had to explore the old kettle working herself to death while he just did nothing.

There he is, beaming out the ultra violet rays from his lamp, trying to attract the fly's attention. The fly is by now hovering over the cooker who says "go away you disease-ridden creature!"

"Shut up!" says the fly. "I'll go where I please". The fly then lets out a sinister chuckle. "Anybody want some germs? Ha ha! Any food lying around?" He then hovers over the kettle who has been quite impassive up until now. She says: "Don't come near me. I'm new." She then remembers that she is covered with cookie crumbs. The fly is till hovering. His gaze falls upon a cookie crumb on the kettle, then an additional one and another. He quickly looks up. As he does, he notices something that he noticed when he first entered the room: a hint - a reflection - of irresistible ultra violet light. He looks down again at the kettle with its ready meal of cookie crumbs, enticing him. He hovers closer, then darts up, then back and even closer still. He has found his meal.

Kettle: "I don't want your germs! Go away!"

Fly: "You are so ungrateful! Did you know that I not only give you the germs for free but I will probably be sick over you into the agreement - that's what us flies do".

"Argh!" says the Kettle, who is now quite distressed and agitated. She tries to get as hot as potential in order to repel the fly, but she is merely warm, and this attracts the fly even more.

The fly is still troubled by the u.v. Light. He wonders where it is advent from and looks colse to again. Then a revelation! He sees it. There it is, shining brightly above the door that he came in. He stares at it. The Insectocutor shines his lamp for all it's worth. He concentrates as hard as he can on luring the fly.

"Come on fly," says the Insectocutor, "come to me".

For the first time kettle precisely notices the insectocutor and, even in her state of despair, she is impressed. The fly looks down at the cookie crumbs on the kettle, and then looks back up to the enticing u.v. Light, then down again.

He gives his verdict: "I'll be back, kettle, I'll be back. Oh, and remember that I will have a nasty microscopic gift for you. Ha ha!" He knows that he can't resist the glare of the ultra violet lamp any longer. He flies towards it and as he does he says to the cooker, fridge, toaster, kettle and all the other kitchen appliances: "see you soon suckers!"

As he flies towards him, the fly addresses the insectocutor: "And what kind of expedient are you? You are very very inviting with your ultra violet light. I'm seeing transmit to being sick over you. Ha Ha!"

Insectocutor: "Welcome, fly"

Fly: "You are precisely welcoming me? You mug!"

The fly closes in on the insectocutor. As he does so he is bathed in u.v. Light and is desperate to get even closer to its source. All the kitchen appliances and its one human occupant are fixed on this spectacle. Then the fly touches the electrified grid of the insectocutor. In that instant he realizes his folly. His disrespect for the insectocutor is supplanted by a realization that he has been fooled. But this is only in an instant - a fraction of a second. In this fragment of time a microscopic sizzle is heard as the fly falls down dead into the insectocutor's catch tray.

This was the Insectocutor's first kill. His general quiet and reserved manner yields to a well of emotion as he pronounces: "I am a finely tuned machine. When I kill flying insects, I make sure their bodies fall into the catch tray. Some cheaper fly killers just make their bodies explode. I never do. I am clean and hygienic"

After this triumphant speech there is a moment's silence. Then Don gives the insectocutor a round of applause and the fridge, cooker and toaster all offer their congratulations. The kettle boils over at that very point in time and gives out a loud whistle of pleasure because she has been saved from a degrading and horrid fate and has found a very handsome friend in the Insectocutor. Don is very pleased to get back to his commonplace kind of day. As he leaves his commonplace house in his commonplace car he muses on how satisfied he is with his new Insectocutor fly killer and knows that he will have a good meeting at work today knowing that his kitchen is being protected from those nasty flies.
